WSK Super Master Series: Final and championship wins for Perico in OK-N Junior
Niccolo Perico (KR/IAME) was again unbeatable at the start and immediately started to pull away from Sebastian Riedel (KR/IAME) in 2nd. Elton Hedfors (Parolin/TM), Perico’s only championship rival, had stopped on the formation lap and Antoni Ociepa (Lenzo/TM) also dropped out early on.
Luigi D’Ascoli (Parolin/TM) was 3rd and fastest, ahead of Ioannis Kolovos (Parolin/TM) while Leo Laitinen (Parolin/TM) had gained five places to 5th.
D’Ascoli took 2nd from Riedel on lap 8 and Victor Gorun (Tony/Vortex) gained 5th from Laitinen.
Perico took the win by 0.478s, losing time to D’Ascoli and Riedel in the closing laps but there wasn’t enough time for an attack. Riedel and D’Ascoli continued to fight but the Italian held on to 2nd. Kolovos was 4th from Gorun and Laitinen.
