WSK Super Master Series: Mini GR3 Final win for Frigerio as Godschalk recovers

Nahyl El Gahoudi (Parolin/IAME) from pole was chased by his team-mate Filippo Frigerio (Parolin/IAME) while Filip Stec (Energy/IAME) and Cees Muijs (Birelart/IAME) came together. Daniel Ferguson (KR/IAME) moved up to 3rd from Abraham Schelvis (TGroup/TM). Ferguson took 2nd briefly and Theo Steindal (Henza/TM) was challenging Schelvis. Wynn Godschalk (KR/IAME) started from 31st and was up to 9th by mid race.

Frigerio took the lead of the race with El Gahoudi still fighting and Ferguson joining in, but this let Steindal catch up. In the action Zane Pace (Tony/Vortex) also saw his chance.

Frigerio’s lead was increasing and El Gahoudi was trying to preserve what he could in 3rd. With two laps to go there were up to ten karts fighting for 2nd.

Frigerio won by almost two seconds from Ferguson and Godschalk took 3rd in the final corners from Schelvis after gaining 28 places. Mateo Garcia (TGroup/TM) took 5th and Alexandr Machac (Parolin/TM) 6th.
