Welcome to the Kartlink Newsletter, our weekly roundup of what’s going on in the world of karting.
As you may have noticed, we’ve had a bit of a redesign on Kartlink, ready for 2016. Hope you like it!
We’ve also launched the 2016 calendar, with Super One, Super 4, LGM, F100, CIK and WSK calendars already added, along with lots of clubs. We’re also in the process of upgrading the system so you can see track maps and weather forecasts on the event pages. Lots more events still to be added!
Next Wednesday will be the day before Christmas Eve and we’re planning to have No. 100 of the Newsletter out but it might be text only – I’ll be in Ireland with an iPad and a fairly dodgy internet connection.
News
Davide Fore has left CRG as they “do not share future objectives” although we understand that Fore doesn’t intend to retire just yet.
Super One calendar updated and Fulbeck added – Rissington will host Rotax instead of TKM, and GYG will have TKM. Fulbeck has been confirmed as the host of the July round.
We are still waiting for the official minutes for the ABkC AGM, but we understand that the proposal to share the tyre fees with the clubs rather than using it as Super One prize money will not go ahead due to other factors.
JAG have put the prices down for Rotax Evo UK spec engines.
