After the indecision between slicks and wets in the parc fermé, all of the drivers in KF-Junior prefinal B went out on wets, which seemed like the right choice given that it was raining slightly at the start. Leonardo Lorandi (Tony Kart / TM) was in the lead to start with, but Matvey Maslov (Tony Kart / Vortex) finished the first lap in the lead. Matteo Raspatelli (Tony Kart / TM) was in third position. James Pull (Tony Kart / Vortex) then passed Devlin DeFrancesco (Tony Kart / Vortex) for 4th place when Sun Yue Yang (FA Kart / Vortex) overtook Eliseo Martinez (CRG / TM) for 6th. David Beckmann (Energy / TM) took Martinez and Yue Yang on the next lap. Maurizio Baiz (Exprit / Vortex) made a good start to 10th as well as Lucas Légeret (Zanardi / Parilla), 12th on the third lap, while Charles Milesi (ART GP / TM), fully recovered from his accident on Saturday, was 22nd with seven places gained.
The gap was widening and the order didn’t change at the front until the checkered flag. Maslov won, with the fastest lap, against Lorandi and Raspatelli who finished 3rd from Pull, DeFrancesco in 5th and Beckmann 6th.
