There are still two races to go on Sunday morning for KF-Junior, but we can already see Enaam Ahmed’s (FA Kart / Vortex) advantage on Saturday night, the provisional leader on 2 points ahead of Leonardo Lorandi (Tony Kart / TM). Although Alexander Vartanyan (Tony Kart / Vortex) is third in Kartcom’s un-official ranking, two victories for both Devlin DeFrancesco (Tony Kart / Vortex) and Max Fewtrell (FA Kart / Vortex) aren’t reflected in their current 5th and 6th positions, especially for the British driver who is the first classified to have already completed the four races.
However, the sometimes excessive intensity of the racing on Saturday has hidden drivers who may well resurface prominently in the pre-finals. Daniel Ticktum (Zanardi / Parilla), in 10th, is the best example. Careful study of the unofficial Kartcom intermediate classification offers a good insight into the situation.
