Last year, French all-terrain electric scooter manufacturer Zosh unveiled its concept drift machine for the general public to professionals and race circuits. The electrically-powered tricycle, designed for fun on safe tracks such as those used for karting, attracted a great deal of interest as soon as it was presented. Zosh took advantage of this initial phase to gather feedback from professionals and early adopters in order to prepare an improved version for production.
The result is an improved Drift that is now ready to leave the production unit at Sougé-le-Ganelon in the Sarthe region of France. The improvements made since the Beta version of the electric tricycle concern the design, which has been redesigned to enhance safety in terms of the floor and side guards. It is also now possible to customise the Drift with the specific colours of the circuit. Battery life has been boosted, offering greater freedom of use. 35 A at 48 V means that you can aim for 18 10-minute sessions before replacing it with a full energy pack in a matter of seconds, while the rapid recharge takes less than 2.5 hours. As an option, an electronic coin-operated rechargeable magnetic card enables fully autonomous remote management.
The fun of riding and gliding in total simplicity remains the basic principle of Zosh Drift during intense and relaxed sessions full of controlled long drifts, accessible to all in complete safety.
