Poleman Carl Nellegard (Tony Kart/TM) and Niccolo Perico (Energy/TM) finished the Mini U10 Qualifying Heats of the WSK Super Master Series at Lonato on an equal footing. With two wins and a 3rd place each, they head the intermediate standings on Saturday evening. Behind them, Lucas Palaccio (KR/Iame) relied more on consistency, with three 2nd places to take the lead over Jason Kosmopoulos (TG Group/TM), Mason Robertson (Parolin/Iame) and David Moscardi (Birel ART/TM) in the top five. Lorenzo Di Pietrantonio (Parolin/Iame) had lost his footing at the start of the first heat, and his two subsequent victories nevertheless dropped him back to 8th place. Among the many drivers who made up ground, Mark Loomets (Energy/TM) stood out with a 42-place climb to 15th. Jean Poujol (Parolin/Iame) had slipped back to 21st, mainly because of a difficult second heat.
