The Mini Qualifying Heats of the WSK Super Master Series at Lonato brought their share of joy and disappointment. Poleman Daniel Miron Lorente (KR/Iame) remained in the lead thanks to two wins and a 3rd-place finish. He was ahead of Daniil Kutskov (KR/Iame), a one-time winner, and Nikita Ljubimov (TGroup/TM) in the Kali’ Kart colours, who moved up 12 places. Behind Oleksandr Legenkyi (KR/Iame), Cristian Blandino (TGroup/TM) maintained his 5th place despite his problems in the first heat on Friday. Mark Pilipenko (Parolin/Iame) moved up 10 places to 6th, followed by Sofia Povazhania (Parolin/Iame) and Alessandro Truchot (Parolin/Iame). Lucas Bonhomme (Exprit/Vortex) did well to hold on to 13th place, while Zack Zhu (EKS/TM) moved up to 25th. Ayrton Lamarche (OTK/TM) and Nathéo Combacon (KR/TM) had now closed the gap.
