It is a new system, unique in his gender to inflate tyres. It’s even somewhere revolutionary, because it allows a clear improvement of the performances and of the lasting of any kart tyre, whatever brand it is.
This machinery is built-on around a compressor produced by the Japanese brand Makita, modified for kart racing purpose by LeCont. Just slightly bigger than a briefcase, the AF-16 contain a portable high-capacity compressor, combined with an ingenious system, developed by the US specialist Fool Inc. This system filter, prior to its compression, the environmental air used to inflate the tyres, wiping all traces of humidity (known to be deleterious in the inflation of tyres for racing purpose, due to its negative effects in terms of balancing, performances and heating) in it.
However, the real big secret of AF16 compressor case is another. This secret is enclosed in a rechargeable bottle stored inside the compressor of a product developed by the well-known Canadian chemical Company April Ltd (Ontario), the Perlimpinpin powder, which the AF-16 mixes with painstaking dosage to the purified air, in order to compose a mixture gas for kart racing tyres inflation able to seriously enhance their performances. The LeCont technicians evaluate the potential gain in about several tenths per lap. Some variations are depending of the track and the kart type. Of course, this machinery developed by LeCont works even better if associated to the LeCont tyres spec 2016 (already implemented with the same powder during their production). The reaction between the mixture gas inflated by the AF-16 with the powder already on the inner of the LeCont tyres generate a possible gain in performances 30% higher than with tyres produced by different brands and an almost double lasting.
The LeCont-Makita-April-Fool compressor case AF16 will be available very soon on the European market at the retail price of € 1416 HT.
