The fourth round of the French F4 Championship will take place over the weekend in the capital of Hungary supporting the prestigious World Series by Renault. This meeting will mark the start of the mid-season and Giuliano is looking forward to the event.
The Pau Grand Prix had seen Giuliano Alesi complete his best weekend since the start of the season, taking many points in each of the three races. At the end of Race 2, he was again close to tasting the joys of the podium.
After this successful meeting where he managed to confirm his position at the forefront of the championship, Giuliano Alesi quickly focused on the Hungaroring meeting, and has again put everything in place for optimal preparation.
Giuliano Alesi: “Since the Pau Grand Prix, I have not stopped preparing so as to get to Budapest in peak condition. I know the Hungaroring is a demanding circuit for the drivers as well as for the cars. The particular configuration of this circuit should suit me but qualifying will be even more important at this round because I know that overtaking opportunities are limited. My motivation is very high and before the long summer break, I will make every effort to obtain the best possible results.“
There are three races on the programme with a single qualifying session lasting 25 to 30 minutes.
The starting grid for the first race will be based on the second fastest time of each driver in the qualifying session. The starting grid of the second race will be determined by the standings in Race 1. The top ten in Race 1 start in the reverse order (reverse grid) for Race 2. The other drivers will start in the order of finishing of Race 1. The starting grid for the third race will be based on the first fastest time of each driver in the qualifying session.
