Between the rails of the historic city of Henri IV Giuliano Alesi will again face his opponents for the third round of the 2015 French F4 Championship. During the first and second rounds Giuliano demonstrated his potential and the young driver from Avignon is to race at the legendary event of the Grand Prix de Pau with all the serenity and concentration that distinguishes him. He knows that this street circuit forgives no mistakes and he will give everything to win at the wheel of his car from the free practice session of Friday, May 15th.
Giuliano Alesi: “Pau is one of the most anticipated events of the season, but it is also a new challenge to face for me because this will be my first street race in a car. I am very well prepared for this race and I am approaching it with the same spirit as the previous meetings. I am very motivated and I will give everything to get the best result possible.“
There are three races on the programme with one qualifying session lasting 25-30 minutes.
The starting grid for the first race will be determined by the second best time of each driver in the qualifying session. The starting grid for the second race will be determined by the result of Race 1. The top ten ranking in Race 1 will start in reverse order (reverse grid) for Race 2. The other drivers will start in order of finishing Race 1. The starting grid for the third race will be based on the best time of each driver in the qualifying session.
Schedule :
Friday, May 15th: collective testing at 8:05 ET, qualifying session at 17:36
Saturday, May 16th: Race 1 at 8:40 ET, race 2 at 17:35
Sunday, May 17th: Race 3 at 13:25
