After the qualifying run yesterday, the honour for the opening the heats series of the Rok Cup International Final goes to Rok class and along with the first start the first thrills come. There is now a carambola, fortunately bloodless for the drivers, forcing the Race Official to make the starting procedure repeated.
Winner in the two heats of Rok category is always the Italian Champion Danilo Albanese, hunted closely by two Polish drivers Szyszko and Krencisz (Rok Talent 2013). In the first heat of the Junior class the author of the pole is Cicognini (AB), second place is Cristian Comanducci (CD) and third one Kasiborski. In the heats good performances are also the defending champion Di Cori, Japanese Natori and Baldi’s.
The first four winners of the Mini class are, at the end of super exciting battles, Cecchi, Serravalle, Musto and Marseglia. After what we saw in the beginning of this event, we can expect world numbers in the Mini Rok and, with as many as 105 drivers at the start, the selection will be tough to find a successor to Abrusci.
Particularly vibrant was the first heat of Shifter class, in particular the early stages of the race, with some collisions that have put several pilots out. The author of the pole, the South African Nathan Parkins, was not impressed and won in front of Ercoli and Lepore.
In Super class winners are Clerici, Vantini and the pole man Villa Zanotti. Good performance for Bartoletti and Russo. In the heats A-C we can see some of the more experienced drivers missing in the first round of heats. They are Caponi, the champion in charge Cinti and the fast driver Pillon.
