From the start of the first round, A against B, the KZ2 International Super Cup at Sarno, the tension was clearly visible. Slightly hesitant when the lights went out, Alexandre Arrue’s (Praga / Parilla) kart was mounted by that of Maik Siebecke (CRG / Modena) – pictured – and Alessio Piccini (Tony Kart / Vortex) was the victim of an accident a few seconds later at the end of the straight. The ‘slow’ procedure was immediately initiated, giving time to evaluate the situation that ultimately proved not serious. Andrea Dalè (CRG / Maxter) managed to regain three places and win the race ahead of Jorge Pescador (Praga / Parilla) and Loris Spinelli (CRG / Maxter). Arrue finished seventh while Siebecke was forced to retire.
