With the recently added Academy Trophy, which does not follow the same pattern as the KZ, to the European meeting in Genk, the schedule will be relatively complicated to follow this weekend in Belgium. The successive use of three types of rubber throughout the meeting will need to be watched closely as the times are set.
Free practice will held on Wednesday (5×20′) for KZ-KZ2 and Thursday (3×15′ and 2×20′) for all categories. KZ2 will have their Qualifying on Friday from 13:00, KZ at 16:10 and they will complete their qualifying heats consecutively.
The 33 competitors in the Academy Trophy will set their official times on Saturday at 10:35 and will have two heats to decide the day, and all participants in the Belgian event will finish their heats on Saturday night.
On Sunday morning, after the warm-up and the drivers presentation, at 10:50, the plan is to follow the frantic pace of WSK Promotion, starting with two prefinals for KZ2 (11:50 ET 24:10) and race 1 for the Academicians (12:30) then the KZ Prefinal (12:50). Hostilities will resume at 14:35 with the start of the final for KZ2, then at 15:15 race 2 of the Academy Trophy and at 15:55 the KZ final. At 4:20 p.m., everything should be complete.
