The final classification of the timed practice for the European KZ Championship fell late in the day. The stewards were definitely not idle and dealt with many cases. Rick Dreezen (Tony Kart / Vortex) was the first penalty of the list, a surprise as his Vortex was equipped with a silencer which had been very effective and had proved its worth in 2012 at Sarno. Michele Di Martino (Energy / TM), Leonid Panfilov (BRM / TM) and Sinan Van der Raad (CRG / TM) were also sanctioned.
The hunt for offenders hasn’t finished surprising us, especially as we have just learned from a well-informed source that the storm that is currently raging over the Wackersdorf region is well over 108 dB. There are no words …
