WSK Euro Series 2013 – #3 – Sarno – KF
Friday – Kodric clinches the Superpole in KF. The most important moment of the day was the Superpole, reserved to the 12 fastest drivers in the first session of KF and KFJ qualifying. On this occasion the Croatian Martin Kodric (FA Kart-Vortex-Vega) confirmed to be in peak form setting the fastest time in 1’05”006. The result is more important than it seems, because Kodric beat into second place the leader of the standings, the French Dorian Boccolacci (Energy-TM-Vega), who was only four milliseconds slower than the poleman. Third the promising Russian driver Vasily Romanov (Energy-TM-Vega), 41 milliseconds behind.
Saturday – Kodric is the favourite in KF. The Croatian arrives at tomorrow’s final phase after winning three heats today. His most dangerous rival is Boccolacci, who won twice.
Sunday -Dorian Boccolacci closed his positive weekend – he was always with the top drivers – winning the KF category. In particular, in the Final, Boccolacci had a good start from the front row and gained an early lead. A lead that he kept until the end of the race. The Polish Karol Basz (Tony Kart-Vortex-Vega), who started from the 8th slot, recovered as far as the final second place, while the Danish Nicklas Nielsen (Kosmic-Vortex-Vega) achieved the podium once again after his win in the Pre-final.
