The sun was strong in Zuera for Qualifying for the KF3 World Cup. 26° in the shade, 45° on the track, the drivers did a quick out lap then two flying laps to set their times. The laps improved over the whole session, and group 4 was the fastest, but it should be recognized that drivers went well in the remaining groups. Lance Stroll (Zanardi / Parilla), in the second group, took pole with 1’01” 292, or 4 good tenths better than his rivals in the series, Gabi Aubry (Birel / TM) and Dorian Boccolacci (Intrepid / TM) who were on exactly the same time.
Overall, Guillermo Russo (FA Kart / Vortex) took second place ahead of Lorenzo Travisanutto (Tony Kart / Vortex), Thomas Bale (FA Kart / Vortex) and Brazilian Vitor Baptista (CRG / BMB) who led his teammate Alex Palou by 5/100 in 6th. The first French driver, Bryan Elpitiya (Zanardi / Parilla) had the fastest time of the first session and was in seventh, Valentin Naud (FA Kart / Vortex) 11th ahead of George Russell (Intrepid / Vortex), and Aubry and Boccolacci were 13th and 14th.
