The races early in the day were dry, but there was heavy rain to finish, so the KF3s have benefited from various conditions at Val d’Argenton for the heats in the WSK Euro Series. Weather and other contingencies resulted in a somewhat unusual hierarchy.
The Croatian Martin Kodric (FA Kart / Vortex), who took two wins, took pole by just a point against Lance Stroll (Zanardi / Parilla), while Alex Palou (CRG / BMB) was not far off in third position with the benefit of his three victories. Dan Ticktum (Zanardi / Parilla) finished fourth in front of George Russell (Intrepid / Vortex). The first French driver was Julien Darras (Tony Kart / Parilla) in 13th position, while the rookie Corsican Lucas Marchi (ART GP / Parilla) was 17th though he had started from the dummy grid due to an engine that was reluctant to start in the third heat.
The weather as well as the current classification should provide some exciting finals.
