The premier class of Rotax, with a strong presence of 72 who have each drawn their CRG-Rotax Max, saw the Briton Edward Brand take pole position with 49 “838.
The host of the Euro Challenge beat two North American drivers, Daniel Formal from the U.S. and Canadian Hugo Ouellette, who has a name well known in the world of Rotax, since his brother Pier-Luc won the world finals in Dubai in 2007. The latter has meanwhile ranked 14th ahead of the South African Caleb Williams.
French drivers Anthoine Barthon and Alexandre Benoit Bessac have promising set respectively 13th and 22nd fastest times.
