As previously in Germany and in Spain, all the Drivers entered in the “U18” World Championship and in the Academy Trophy had to participate in the quiz of questions/answers within the framework of the educational programme “EduKart” conducted on the day before the final round of these competitions, scheduled for this weekend on the circuit of Val d’Argenton, in France.
The Russian Vsevolod Gagen proved the most brilliant pupil amongst the “Academicians” as he was the fastest to reply without any mistakes to the 25 electronically-asked questions (on touch-sensitive terminals) concerning topics as various as the knowledge of the Regulations, safety, the history and patrimony of Karting or the anti-doping fight. He thus did the grand slam since he had already performed best at the first two events, in Wackersdorf and Alcan?iz. The Frenchman Anthoine Hubert and Hong Kong’s Jacky Chan will accompany him on the Edukart podium, which will be organised on Sunday afternoon. In the category above, that of the “U18” World Championship, the most brilliant participant was the Swiss Levin Amweg, who finished ahead of the German Vier and of the Briton Snell.
