Danil Kvyat, now an Intrepid driver, nevertheless retains his sense of attack. He was impressive in the 1st session, where he beat the latter by more than 3 tenths and set the fastest time in KF3. The driver to approach his 44”213 was of course Nyck De Vries (Zanardi / Parilla). In 3rd on his new Tony Kart / Vortex at Morsicani Racing, Raffaele Marciello was 1.5 tenths slower.
The Russian Pavel Rudakov took 4th on a private Tony Kart / Vortex, ahead of Michael Heche (Intrepid / TM) in great form at his new team, LM Karting. Ocon Esteban (Exprit / Vortex) landed a superb 6th fastest time ahead of Lukas Machunskas (Tony Kart / Vortex) and Alexander Albon (Tony Kart / TM). Hubert Anthoine (Tony Kart / Vortex) also got into in the top 10 with 9th position in front of Jake Dennis (Topkart / Parilla). Sainz finished 12th, Guibbert 13th, Deguffroy 17th and Jaminet 18th.
