Victory for the German Londonliving.com team in the first of the three 2-hour sessions, in an endurance race full of spills. After 131 laps of the Monaco road race last year’s runner-up Dewhurst Racing are lying second, only 4.6 seconds behind the leader, which is nothing in a race like this. Let’s not forget that Briton Colin Brown, the 2000 Formula A karting world champion, is in this team. After a fierce battle at the head of the race www.brightec.com has taken 3rd place with Simona De Silvestro and Vitaly Petrov driving. The 2006 winner, Energex & Fast and Furious, was in the top five for a long time before dropping back to 8th across the line. In 4th place it’s Expressions Parfumées (Pedro Lamy, Stéphane Sarrazin and Franck Lions), ahead of Capocaccia-ACM, Clivio Piccione’s team. Clivio was vice-champion of the world in 2000. Nicolas Minassian and his Jet 7 team could only manage 23rd place. Next report at 15.10…
