The start of the 2018 season has been very challenging. After the postponement of the second round at Lonato, the WSK Super Master Series heads south to the La Conca circuit. Although spring is coming, the weather will not be perfect yet, but the improvement is likely to be appreciated. Mild temperatures are expected with maximums between 13 and 18°. The weather is not always predictable at this end of Italy, surrounded by the sea. Rapid changes are always possible, in one direction as well as the other. For the moment the forecasts indicate a risk of rain on Friday morning and a few drops on Sunday in the middle of the day.
It is difficult to know before the first running how many of the 250 drivers entered will be present in Muro Leccese. We expect 15 French drivers: Jimmy Helias (Tony Kart / Vortex) and Jules Caranta (Kosmic / Vortex) in Mini, Marcus Amand (KR / Parilla), Hadrien David (Kosmic / Vortex), Loris Cabirou (Energy / TM), Sami Meguetounif (Formula K / TM) in Junior, and Vincent Fraïsse (Sodi / TM) and Ugo Gazil (KR / Parilla) in OK. The usual formation will start in KZ2 with Anthony Abbasse (Sodi / TM), Adrien Renaudin (Sodi / TM), Tom Leuillet (Sodi / TM), Hugo Arnaud (Sodi / TM), Yohan Soguel (Luxor / LKE) and Emilien Denner (Kali Kart / TM). Note that Marco Ardigo (Tony Kart / Vortex) and Patrik Hajek (Kosmic / Vortex) are on the list.
