Christian Costoya (Parolin/TM) led on the first lap from Dean Hoogendoorn (KR/Iame) and Henry Domain (Energy/TM), followed by Niklas Schaufler (KR/Iame), Jack Illife (Exprit/TM) and Filippo Sala (LN/TM). Hoogendorrn attacked Costoya for P1 on the second lap. Rocco Coronel (KR/Iame) had already moved up six places to 7th. The two frontrunners didn’t give up an inch, but Schaufler had moved up to 3rd and overtook Costoya on lap 5. Sala closed in on 4th place while the leading trio remained very compact. Costoya took the lead from Schaufler and Hoogendoorn on lap 7. Schaufler fell back to 7th behind Illife after an unsuccessful attack on the leader. The Austrian retired shortly afterwards. Coronel was 3rd (+10 places) 3.6″ behind the leading duo. Dries van Langendonck (Exprit/TM) had made up nine places to finish 7th. Joel Pohjola (Tony Kart/Vortex) and Sebastian Lehtimaki (Tony Kart/Vortex) retired simultaneously. Coronel then lost out to Illife. Costoya won 0.386” ahead of Hoogendoorn, Illife was 3rd (+9 places) at 4.3”, Coronel 4th before being penalised 14th (spoiler). Van Langendonck was therefore classified 4th (+12 places). Thomas Pradier (KR/Iame) had moved up 18 places to 13th, while Aloïs Girardet (Energy/TM) finished a difficult race in 22nd position.
