The Mini U10 Prefinals took place on a wet track in Cremona during the WSK Super Master Series, with 9° on the thermometer.
Prefinal A: Moscardi ahead of Palacio
David Moscardi (Birel ART/TM) held the lead at the start, but Lucas Palacio (KR/Iame), who had started well, made life difficult for him. Leon Chelidze (KR/Iame) followed in 3rd place ahead of John Jan (Parolin/Iame) and Rocco Simone (KR/Iame). Jason Kosmopoulos (Tgroup/TM) was 8th after a difficult start to the race. Achille Rea (Tony Kart/Vortex) also made up ground in 4th place. With several fastest laps, Moscardi slightly increased his advantage over Palacio and managed to win the race by 3 tenths, Simone was 3rd at 2.2”, Rea 4th at 1.4” and Kosmopoulos was 5th.
Prefinal B: Nellegard tops the results
The rain had stopped, but the track remained very slippery. Niccolo Perico (Energy/TM) led ahead of Tiberius Muller (Tony Kart/Vortex) and Blazej Kostrzewa (Parolin/Iame) on the first lap, with Alexander Lazarus (KR/Iame) missing out. Muller briefly occupied P1 before dropping back to 5th. Carl Nellegard (Tony Kart/Vortex) was 2nd and Jean Poujol (Parolin/Iame) 3rd before losing 10 places. Nellegard then took the lead from Perico and Kostrzewa. Nellegard won 3.2” ahead of Kostrzewa, Muller was 3rd, Perico 4th was penalised by 5” and ended up 9th. Mark Loomets (Energy/TM) took 4th place ahead of Xavier Lazaro (Tony Kart/TM). Poujol finished 8th.
