The weather cleared in Cremona early on Friday afternoon for qualifying practice for the 65 European Championship OK drivers on MG tyres. The temperature rose to 28°C. The drivers took to the track before the last three minutes.
Session 1: Iglesias – 47”481
On lap 2, Martin Molnar (Energy/TM) was leading ahead of Sebastiano Pavan (Tony Kart/Vortex) and Louis Iglesias (CRG/Iame). On lap 3, Iglesias was fastest in 47’481. Nicolo Cuman (Exprit/TM) was 2nd at 2 tenths, followed by Dmitry Matveev (KR/Iame), Molnar and Maciej Gladysz (LN/TM). Andrea Dupé (KR/Iame) was 6th, and Tomass Stolcermaniss (Energy/TM) 8th ahead of Pavan and Alex Powell (KR/Iame).
Session 2: Tarnvanichkul – 47’760
Ean Eyckmans (Birel ART/TM) was fastest on the second lap ahead of Aleksandar Bogunovic (Tony Kart/Vortex). The Belgian improved to 47’835 on lap 3 against Enzo Tarnvanichkul (KR/Iame). The Thai finished in the lead with a 47”760 on lap 4, 0.075” ahead of Eyckmans. Mattia Colnaghi (CRG/Iame) finished 3rd at 0.165” ahead of Tereza Babickova (Exprit/TM) and Roland Kuklane (Tony Kart/Vortex). Miguel Costa (Parolin/TM) finished 6th, Arthur Poulain (KR/Iame) 12th.
Session 3: Lammers – 47”724
Rene Lammers (Parolin/TM) was in the lead on the second lap ahead of Ghazi Motlekar (KR/Iame). Lammers improved to 47”724 on the next lap, Luigi Coluccio (Tony Kart/Vortex) was 2nd at 0.164”, followed by Kean Nakamura-Berta (KR/Iame). Fionn Mc Laughlin (KR/Iame) finished 4th and Emanuele Olivieri (IPK/TM) 5th. Gabriel Gomez (CRG/Iame) was 6th ahead of David Walther (Tony Kart/Vortex).
