The OK category gathered 43 drivers in Sarno for the third round of the WSK Super Master Series. Qualifying took place on Friday lunchtime on a dry track, under an overcast sky and 12°.
Session 1 Egozi 53”680
Jan Przyrowski (Tony Kart/Vortex) and Sebastiano Pavan (Tony Kart/Vortex) battled at the top of the standings, followed by Luis James Egozi (Tony Kart/Vortex). Tomasss Stolcermanis (Energy/TM) came in 3rd with Martin Molnar (Energy/TM) 5th. Egozi finished in 53”680, a tenth ahead of Stolcermanis, Przyrowski 3rd, Molnar 4th and Pavan 5th. Nathan Tye (Sodi/TM) was 7th and Andrea Dupé (Sodi/TM) finished 15th.
Session 2 Lammers 53”769
Emanuele Olivieri (IPK/TM) was initially in the lead against Jimmy Helias (Tony Kart/Vortex) and Maxens Verbrugge (Birel ART/TM). Helias then took the lead ahead Thomas Strauven (LN/Vortex) and David Walther (Tony Kart/Vortex) accelerated. Rene Lammers (Parolin/TM) then took the lead on the fifth lap in 53’769. Strauven finished 2nd by 8 hundredths, Luigi Coluccio (Tony Kart/Vortex) 3rd, Verbrugge secured 4th position ahead of Olivieri and Helias. Arthur Poulain (Tony Kart/Vortex) was 11th.
