Sodi Racing USA is very pleased to announce Piquet Sports as a new Sodi team and Sodi dealer in the United States. Just days after confirming its creation, Sodi Racing USA has already begun to expand its the dealer network and is solidifying a race team to provide trackside support for competitors at major events during the 2023 race season in the USA with the addition of Florida-based Piquet Sports.

Piquet Sports is based out of the brand-new kart track at the Piquet Entertainment & Race Park facility, located just outside the West Palm Beach, Florida area. The track just hosted the Rotax Max Challenge Winter Trophy as its first major event and will be the site of Round Two for the ROK Cup USA Florida Winter Tour this coming weekend. Piquet Sports is soon to have full shop, sales department, and showroom featuring the Sodi chassis brand.
Nelson Piquet of Piquet Sports stated, “We started discussing with Sodi several weeks ago and it seemed that Sodikart’s ambitions are very much aligned with ours. We want to become a reference in North America, but this can only happen with the support of a structured company like Sodi, which is the largest karting company in the world. There is a lot of work to do to get there but we are well aligned to grow together. We have already received and tested our first chassis. They are magnificent!”
Sodi Racing USA is focused on supporting new dealers and race teams throughout the United States. Piquet Sports will provide trackside support for major races during the 2023 season, especially the United States Pro Kart Series program this year, set to start this March at the Orlando Kart Center in Florida.
