Kai Hunter (GBR) was very determined from the start of Prefinal A and was 2nd behind Tereza Babickova (CZE), while Paul Fourquemin (FRA) lost five places to 7th. Lachlan Robinson (ARE) quickly replaced Hunter in 2nd place. Mario Novak (POL) moved up to 3rd ahead of Andrej Petrovic (SVK) and Francesco Grimaldi (ARG). Babickova continued to control the race despite pressure from Robinson, but the regrouping in the chasing group was becoming clearer and things were certainly not going to stay that way. Fourquemin was fighting with Lewis Gilbert (GBR) for 6th position. Thomas Ricci (FRA) recovered his 10th starting position while Enzo Caladaras was fighting for 15th. Fourquemin was back in 3rd. Babickova controlled the situation perfectly until the finish line 4 tenths ahead of Robinson. Fourquemin came back to within 1,3”. Petrovic finished 4th, but was penalised down to 8th, Gilbert took 4th place and Grimaldi 5th. Ricci took a good 9th place and Caldaras finished 15th. Eleven drivers did not finish.
Four very talented British drivers took the first two places in the Prefinal B: Callum Bradshaw (GBR) and Clayton Ravenscroft (GBR) ahead of Sean Butcher (GBR) and Mark Kimber (GBR). The first lap already saw several overtakes. Bradshaw was leading ahead of Ravenscroft, Kimber and Butcher with Diego Contecha (COL) 5th. But everything changed on the next lap with Kamal Agha (ARE) 4th. Butcher and Kimber were slightly ahead and Agha came back in 3rd ahead of Contecha, Bradshaw and Ravenscroft, then Rhys Hunter (GBR) in 7th. At the halfway point, Kimber was leading ahead of Butcher, then Bradshaw, Contecha and Ravenscroft. Kimber regained 1st place on lap 10, allowing Bradshaw to move up to 2nd, but the top nine were incredibly close. Ravenscoft was fighting for 2nd place with Bradshaw. Butcher lost several places. Kimber won 4 tenths ahead of Bradshaw, Ravenscroft 3rd at 1.5″. Rhys Hunter finished 4th.
Babickova secured her 1st place in the ranking against Bradshaw and Fourquemin, Ravenscroft 4th and Kimber 5th. Ricci was 19th and Caldaras 30th.
