Morgan Riche (FRA) and Paul Louveau (FRA) finished the first lap of the DD2 Masters Prefinal in the lead ahead of Henrijs Grube (LVA) and Pier-Luc Ouellette (CAN). Michael Hitchcock (CHE) then took 4th place at the expense of the Canadian and moved up to 3rd shortly after. After four laps, Riche had a 1,1” lead over Louveau, who was himself 1,7” ahead of Hitchcock. Ouellette was again in the top three. Christophe Capitaine (FRA) was 18th and Christophe Adams (NLD) 22nd. The French driver continued their demonstration until the finish with Riche taking the best time, 5” ahead of Louveau. Ouellette came back to the line in 3rd place 1,6” later, in front of Hitchcock. Capitaine finished 15th and Adams 17th.
Riche and Ouellette will share the front row of the Final on Saturday ahead of Louveau and Hitchcock. Capitaine will start 14th.
