After a solid run with two victories, poleman Kai Rillaerts (BEL – Exprit – JJ Racing) is still the Junior leader of the Rotax MAX Challenge International Trophy in Le Mans. His team-mate Farin Megger (DEU – Exprit – JJ Racing) took a win in the second heat, but his 10th place in a heat meant that he was relegated to 3rd place behind the very consistent Téo Blin (FRA – Tony Kart). In 4th position Matthijs Terlouw (NLD – Tony Kart) managed to move up seven places ahead of Aron Krepcsik (HUN – Exprit). Jules Roussel (FRA – Sodi) was back in the top 10 (+4 places), while Alan Lanfray (FRA – Exprit) dropped out of the top 10 in 15th position due to a difficult second heat. Further back, Karel Schulz (FRA – Exprit) moved up 12 places to 22nd.
