At the end of July, the 1st FIA Karting competition of the season will take place in Zuera (ESP) for the European Championship of the OK and OK-Junior categories. The provisional lists published by the CIK-FIA show quite satisfactory figures in the post-confinement context with 183 drivers entered, 88 in OK and 95 in Junior, as well as 43 countries and 4 continents represented.
France occupies 5th place, tied with the United Kingdom, with 13 representatives. In OK, Lola Lovinfosse (Tony Kart/Vortex) from the Ward Racing team, will be accompanied by 5 VDK Racing (KR/Iame) drivers: Franck Chappard, Marcus Amand, Marlon Hernandez, Florian Rousseau-Ricci and Hugo Besson. They will be 7 in Junior with Macéo Capietto (KR/Iame) Pantano Team, Evan Giltaire (Sodi/TM) Sodikart, Arthur Rogeon (Exprit/Vortex) Exprit Racing Team, Edgar Anpilogov (Kosmic/Vortex) RFM licensed in France and the three KR/Iame VDK Racing drivers Maxens Verbrugge, Augustin Bernier and Antonio Leite.
