The sun came back on Sunday morning at La Conca and the 60 Mini Prefinals of the WSK Super Master Series entered the track under a beautiful blue sky.
Andrea Kimi Antonelli (Energy / TM) led throughout Prefinal A, followed by Kirill Kutskov (Energy / TM). Coskun Irfan (Parolin / TM) quickly returned to 3rd place with Akshay Arjun Bohra (Parolin / TM) in his wheeltracks, the two drivers swapping places several times. Antonelli won at the end of a clear race against Kutskov, but Bohra met a technical problem within two corners of the goal and left Irfan 3rd. Dmitry Matveev (CRG / TM) took 5th place.
Giuseppe Jacopo Cimenes (Evokart / TM) and Cristian Bertuca (Evokart / TM) built up a gap on the first lap of Prefinal B, Martinius Stenshorne (Parolin / TM) was 3rd and Joel Bergstrom (IP Karting / TM) was fighting Tymoteusz Kucharczyk (Parolin / TM) for 4th position. Starting 29th, Jimmy Helias (Tony Kart / Vortex) reached 22nd at the halfway point. Kucharczyk was 3rd in front of Stenshorne and Francesco Amendola (Birel ART / TM) was in the top five. Despite some attempts on the last lap, the positions changed with a victorious double for Evokart, Cimenes ahead of Bertuca, Kucharczyk 3rd, then Stenshorne 4th and Amendola 5th. After returning to 18th, Helias lost all chances in the battle on the last lap.
