Lorenzo Nistri (ITA), Lauri Leppa (FIN), Giorgio Amati (ITA) and Enqi Wang (CHN) were fastest at the start of the first timed Max session at Portimao. Then Jordan Brown-Nutley (GBR), Ryan MacDermid (CAN) and Tamino Bergmeier (DEU) came down in under a minute. Brown-Nutley was fastest with 59”787, followed by MacDermid by 6 thousandths. In 3rd, Bergmeier was ahead of Diego Portell (CHI) and Leppa. Felix Wargé (BEL) posted the 11th time.
The names of Jean Nomblot (FRA), Petr Bezel (CZE), Charlie Turner (GBR), Rhys Hunter (GBR) and Charlie Andersen appeared at the top of the time sheet of the second session. Then Zsombor Kovacs (HUN), Mario Novak AUT), Ruben Kverkild (NOR) and Lucas Selliken (USA) returned to the game. Bezel was finally the fastest against Enric Bordas Cotes (ESP), with Hunter 3rd and Kovacs 4th.
In the overall standings, the Session 1 drivers kept the advantage with Brown-Nutley’s pole ahead of MacDermid and Bergmeier. Portell and Leppa were ahead of Bezel in 6th. Warge finished in 14th place, Nomblot was 37th, Arnaud Sarrazin (FRA) 62nd and Matthieu Bourdon (FRA) 69th.
