The weather was very good for the start of the decisive Final of the KZ2 International Super Cup at Kristianstad with alternating blue sky and clouds, but best of all no no rain. There was a large audience in the stands and at the perimeter of the track.
Pedro Hiltbrand (CRG / Maxter) slid a bit initially, Felice Tiene (CRG / TM) took the opportunity to secure the lead and Tommaso Mosca (Maranello / TM) took 3rd ahead of Matteo Vigano (Top Kart / Parilla). Paolo Besancenez (Tony Kart / Vortex) was 5th, Benjamin Törnqvist (CRG / TM) 6th ahead of Fabian Federer (CRG / Modena), John Norris (Tony Kart / Vortex) and Luca Corberi (Tony Kart / Vortex).
Mosca increased the pressure on the leader Tiene, 2/10 ahead of Hiltbrand. The pass took place on lap 6, with Tiene falling to 6th in the manoeuvre, Hiltbrand now 2nd, Vigano 3rd and Besancenez 4th. But Federer posted the best time and dislodge the Frenchman. The battle escalated between Federer and Vigano who manfully responded. Mosca suddenly disappeared on lap 10, probably due to an engine problem. Hiltbrand recovered the lead with a big gap to Federer and Vigano and then Törnqvist and Norris. Tiene passed Besancenez who was now 7th ahead of Tom Leuillet (Sodi / TM). Daniel Stell (CRG / Modena) and Corberi completed the provisional top 10 shortly after halfway.

With no distractions, Hiltbrand set the fastest laps over 3” ahead of Federer.
