Marco Ardigo (Tony Kart / Vortex) took the lead ahead of Davide Fore (Righetti / TM) when the lights went out for the KZ Final and Jérémy Iglesias (Sodi / TM) passed Patrik Hajek (Kosmic / Vortex) to gain 3rd place. Jorge Pescador (Praga / Parilla) took 5th place ahead Flavio Camponeschi (CRG / Parilla), while Anthony Abbasse (Sodi / TM) and Bas Lammers (Sodi / TM) were back up to 7th and 8th positions. At the halfway point, Iglesias became more pressing in the wake of Fore, who was slightly distanced by Ardigo. Lammers had overtaken his team-mate Abbasse, previously the fastest driver on the track. Ardigo took a wide lead, Fore secured 2nd place with a growing margin on Iglesias, and Lammers and Abbasse passed Camponeschi. While Ardigo won the race ahead of Fore and Iglesias, Hajek gave way in the battle on the penultimate lap against Pescador in 4th, Lammers 5th and Abbasse 6th, Lennox-Lamb having retired.
