Charles Milesi (Tony Kart / Vortex) started before anyone else in the first timed session in KF-Junior and stayed in the lead for a long time. With three minutes remaining, Paavo Tonteri (Croc Promotion / TM) suddenly posted timesapproaching 47”2 and 47”1 and Logan Sargeant (FA Kart / Vortex) dropped below 47”0 in front of Presley Martono (Tony Kart / Vortex) and Christian Lundgaard (Tony Kart / Vortex). Sargeant improved his time in the last lap, 46”865 or 0.146” faster than Lundgaard, while Noah Watt (FA Kart / Vortex) returned to 3rd from Muizziddin bin Abdul Gafar (CRG / Vortex) and Sun Yue Yang (FA Kart / Vortex).
The second session proved slower than the first. Lahoz Lopez was ahead of Lorenzo Colombo (Tony Kart / LKE) and Davide Lombardo (Exprit / Vortex) for a long time until Ulysses De Pauw (BirelART / Parilla) posted an excellent lap of 47”082 followed by Peter Ptacek (Formula K / Parilla). Frederik Vesti (Energy / TM) moved up to 2nd position ahead of Marta Garcia (FA Kart / TM). But that’s not all, as Sami Worship (FA Kart / Vortex) finished 2nd by 29 thousandths and the surprising Brazilian Caio Collet (Kosmic / Vortex) finished third for his first competition with the Kosmic Racing Department. Milen Ponomarenko (Tony Kart / LKE) took 4th place and Lucas Légeret (BirelART / Parilla) 5th.
The pole position therefore goes to Sargeant ahead of Lundgaard, Watt and Muizziddin, De Pauw only in 5th position, followed by Worship, Yue Yang, Martono, Tonteri and Roosens.
