Now Belgium finally has some good weather, it’s time to start the engines, warm the tyres and getting ready for the new season.
This weekend the new and undoubtedly exciting season will be kicked off at Karting Genk. Just like last year, the BNL Kick Off is the first race in the Belgian Karting scene. Last year the Kick Off was already a very successful race and we expect nothing else this year! And a new year means a lot of new opportunities for the drivers in their new classes. We are looking forward to see you all racing!
Micro & Mini Max
While the Micro Max has finally a large field again, the Mini Max lost some drivers in comparison with last year. But there are still more than enough participants to find a new talent!
Junior Max
The Junior Max is just like the previous years a popular class with 36 drivers. Reigning champion Thomas Preining joined the Seniors, like many others. So we expect a lot of new faces at the front including a lot of foreigners!
Senior Max
In the seniors we will have to wait how the new way of racing, without front braking, will expire. And beside that some quick Junior Drivers made the switch to the Seniors. So with a lot of Belgian, European and even American talents we expect a huge battle and some brilliant races!
DD2
The DD2 class is the biggest surprise this year. With over 25 drivers the DD2 class is attracting more drivers and there are a lot of really fast drivers who will give us some fantastic races!
With more than 120 participants out of 16 different countries, the organization expects a really nice race after a very long winter break and they are already counting down!
Counting down to see everyone racing but also to test their newest investment! In the winter they have invested in 12 cameras for the best possible race control because there is a lot at stake! Numerous awards including 6 MIR Racing overalls, 6 Alfano lap timers or a full BNL Season for free, that is what will be raced for! Good luck to all the drivers!
