Leonardo Marseglia (CRG / Vortex) had to give up first place to Giuseppe Fusco (Tony Kart / Vortex) at the end of the qualifying heats. Jacopo Guidetti (Energy / Vortex) meanwhile kept his 2nd place ahead of Mattia Michelotto (Top Kart / Vortex), Luigi Coluccio (Tony Kart / Vortex) and Marzio Moretti (Tony Kart / Vortex).
Fusco and Moretti are both led the prefinal which was run on slicks on a track that was still showing some traces of moisture. Marseglia won the race ahead of Guidetti and Michelotto, while Fusco preserved his chances in 5th position.
Michelotto started ahead in the final, Fusco quickly returned to 2nd, Marseglia was quickly back in the game and took 2nd while Fusco took the lead. Francesco Crescente ranked 4th while Guidetti fought Coluccio for 5th place. The fight for victory was not over. Marseglia and Michelotto passed Fusco, who responded at the start of the last lap. Drivers passed and repassed, but Fusco managed to win while Coluccio sneaked into 2nd position ahead of Marseglia and Michelotto. Edoardo Villa (Tony Kart / Vortex) eventually finished 5th.
Update: Fusco got a 30” penalty because of his spoiler, Coluccio is the new winner.
