Logan Sargeant (FA Kart / Vortex) completed the first lap of the KF-Junior final quite clearly ahead of Felipe Drugovich (Kosmic / Vortex), Daniele Lombardo (Exprit / Vortex) and Bogdan Fetisov (Tony Kart / Parilla). Kush Maini (Tony Kart / Vortex) then took 4th place while Jean-Baptiste Simmenauer (Tony Kart / Vortex) was sixth ahead of Sebastian Fernandez Wahbeh (Exprit / Vortex). The top nine were close and the hierarchy was not fixed.
Sargeant got away while the battle raged in the pack. Lombardo took 2nd in front of Maini and Simmenauer. Clement Novalak (Tony Kart / Vortex) moved into the top five ahead of Drugovich and Artem Petrov (DR / TM). The rain began to fall on the 9th of 16 laps. The red flag was immediately shown, but some drivers went off before reaching the finish line. The race director gave one more lap for drivers to return to the pits.
The rain decreased and almost everyone kept their slicks. The drivers started in single file with the slow procedure with seven laps to go. The track was still slippery. With his rain tyres, Fetisov quickly moved ahead of Sargeant. But the rain stopped, the track dried and Sargeant won after a short battle with Maini. Sun Yue Yang (FA Kart / Vortex) finished 3rd in front of Lombardo, Novalak and Christian Lundgaard (Tony Kart / Vortex) who regained 25 places! Simmenauer finished 7th, Milane Petelet (Kosmic / Parilla) in a superb 13th place and Charles Milesi (Tony Kart / Vortex) 20th. The fastest time went to Noah Watt (FA Kart / Vortex) who wasn’t able to rejoin the grid in time for the restart.
