In third, Finn Kooijman (CRG / TM) stopped on the grid and had to start from the last row. Tension mounted in the front group and the attack happened on the 5th lap. Van Der Burgt took the lead ahead of Midrla and Müller, John Norris (Mach1/TM) joined the top group in fourth position ahead of Brenna, Manuel Huber (DR / TM) and Lundberg. as well as Habulin, Ricardo Romkema (Energy / TM) and Dominik Schmidt (Energy / Vortex) suffered in the beginning of the race.
