The KZ2 final at the WSK Final Cup was exciting as the sun returned to Castelletto, because of the intensity of the duel between Davide Fore (CRG / TM) and Patrik Hajek (Praga / Parilla). Hajek started on pole, Fore took control from the second lap, neither driver would give way and Hajek took over the leadership in mid-race. Fore still would not abdicate, he passed Hajek again on tge 14th lap. It seemed settled, with the Italian taking a narrow lead over his rival. But the Czech was still on the lookout and negotiated the last corners with great skill to take the advantage from Fore on the line.
Mirko Torsellini (ART GP / TM) gradually moved up to third position, with the lap record, after being held up by a difficult start from Jonathan Thonon (Praga / Parilla) who went back to seventh. 4th place went to Ricardo Romkema (Energy / TM) who drove a compelling race ahead of Sauro Cesetti (Top Kart / TM) who was always incisive, Lorenzo Camplese (Intrepid / TM) was 6th. Alexandre Arrue (Praga / Parilla) was ranked ninth behind Alexander Schmitz (Tony Kart / Vortex). As for Louis Bonsaudo (PCR / Parilla), he was able to enjoy a full meeting at a high level until his 18th place in the final.
