The second round of the WSK Euro Series, which was held in Spain on the Circuito Internacional de Zuera and marked the fifth meeting of the season, confirmed Dorian Boccolacci’s regular presence at the top of the KF class. Indeed, he is proving to be one of the main protagonists of this season, always making the most of his Energy/TM regardless of the track, as proven by his 4 times on the podium: he was second at Zuera – the first fast track of the 2013 calendar – where he showed again his competitiveness and took the lead of the WSK Euro standings.
Dorian, who was already fast in timed qualifying, set the 4th fastest time and was 3rd in the Superpole. He won twice in the qualifying heats, and though he lost some time on the outside trajectory in the last heat, he won the pre-final by skilfully controlling his opponents on the last lap. In the final race, fight was very intense in a group of 5 drivers who launched a series of attacks and passes. Dorian came out of the pack at mid-race and went to chase Felice Tiene. But the leader had had the time to open up a considerable lead and it was impossible to catch him.
On his first season in KF, Dorian’s performances are excellent, both on tight circuits and on fast tracks, and he is obviously satisfied with his brilliant results.
