The first row of the Prefinal of the French National Championship was occupied by Anthony Fotia (Intrepid) and Antoine Nectoux (FA Kart Kart), followed by Romain Bonetto (Tony Kart) and Morgan Bertin (Tony Kart). The start went pretty well, keeping his lead ahead of Fotia and Bonetto, while Thomas Laurent (Tony Kart) was able to take third place ahead of Nectoux, Aymeric Lesaulnier (Tony Kart) and Lucas Nectoux with Brion (Kosmic) in 6th place. Fotia ensured his lead posiiton with the fastest lap time, Bonetto kept up the pace in his wake, while Laurent was closely followed by Nectoux.
Positions stabilized for some time in a lead pack that stretched out over the laps. Brion resumed hostilities against Lesaulnier on lap 7 to win fifth place when Nectoux passed for 3rd ahead of Laurent. The battle for the title was in progress. Bonetto was not left behind by the leader Fotia, on the contrary, he was getting closer. Sacha Ouspensky Tony Kart) went on the offensive and gained 2 places in 11th place. Harald Creton (Tony Kart) was back strongly in 8th position after starting 16th.
After halfway, the three leaders closed up, Fotia, Bonetto and Nectoux were getting closer. But Fotia reacted and managed to keep his position until the finish. Fotia won ahead of Nectoux who passed Bonetto on the last lap. Laurent was 4th, Brion was 5th, Creton 6th, Lesaulnier 7th, Coursault 8th, Ouspensky 9th, who set the fastest lap, and Hucher was 10th.
