Maxime Roy (Tony Kart / TM) took off like a bullet at the lights in the KZ2 final, while Julien Poncelet (ART GP / TM) was slow to move off the grid: it was not yet known if the start process was successful. Charles Fiault (Sodi / Maxter) was second. The first two had already built a good gap from François Santoni PCR / TM, surprisingly in third. Poncelet recovered quickly to take 2nd, followed by Laurent Marchandise (CRG / Maxter).
Nolan Mantione (Birel / TM) was in fifth place ahead of Christophe Benoit (Birel / TM), but Pierre Ragues (Sodi / Maxter) overtook on lap 8. In the lead, Roy increased his lead over Fiault by setting the fastest lap. Poncelet, in third by 4” was closely followed by Marchandise. Ragues overtook Mantione for 5th.
Regularly fastest by 3/10, Roy crossed the line first, ahead of Fiault, and Poncelet retained his third place against Marchandise and Ragues.
