The KZ2 final begins with a hold up on the second and third rows; Zanchetta and Roy were paying the price. Mirko Torsellini (Tony Kart / Vortex) and Jordan Lennox-Lamb (CRG / Maxter) set off for a long tight duel in front of Dylan Davies (PCR / TM), Alexandre Arrue (Righetti / TM), who made a good start, then Riccardo Negro (DR / TM) and Simas Juodvirsis (Energy / TM). Arrue dropped back two places, Roy was forced over the grass which resulted in retirement. The situation did not change much for in the first two, Torsellini and Lennox-Lamb, but Negro closed up to the bumper of Davies, in third. He overtook at the halfway point, on lap 10.
The grandstand came alive when Lennox finally attacked Torsellini, on lap 13, and the Tony Kart immediately repassed the CRG. Lennox was intimidating Torsellini, but he resisted. Lennox passed again on lap 17, but did not close the door early enough on the last righthander: Torsellini returned to the lead. Another move failed for Lennox on the penultimate lap. The Briton was too far back to try anything again.
Victory went to Torsellini in front of Lennox-Lamb, Negro 3rd, Davies 4th, Juodvirsis 5th.
