There is a new race format this year in KF3 in WSK Masters, where they compete for two separate prefinals. Callum Ilott (Zanardi / Parilla) on the front row of the pre A with Dorian Boccolacci (Intrepid / TM). The French driver jumped the start and took the lead ahead of Ilott, Dan Ticktum (Zanardi / Parilla) was soon passed by Alex Palou (CRG / BMB). Boccolacci went wide at a curve and lost 6 places at once. Ilott got away, which was not a surprise, Palou controlled Ticktum, followed by Antonio D’Angelo (Birel / BMB) and Vladimir Atoev (Tony Kart / Vortex). Bocolacci was back in the fight for fourth place with Martin Kodric (FA Kart / Vortex).
At halfway Alessio Lorandi (Tony Kart / Vortex) set the fastest lap, closer to the top five, while Ilott was moving toward a new victory, 1.7” ahead of Palou, with Ticktum third, and Kodric attacked Boccolacci attack on the last lap for fourth place, Lorandi retained 6th place. Bryan Elpitya, who dropped back early in the race, will not reach the final.
