After the Ostricourt GPO, the French make is still leader of the French Constructors’ Championship. Second in KF2 and KZ2, Sodi occupies the first place in KF3, as well as in the Champion of Champions combined category classification. During the latest GPO, there was at least one Sodi driver on each single podium and overall the meeting was extremely positive with one victory, three second places and five third places; all these results were made possible by SRT and by the private teams that raced to defend Sodi colours.
Léo Roussel, who won Saturday’s final race, was the best driver of the KF2 group, while Anthoine Hubert concluded with a 7th place. Roussel replicated his excellent performances on Sunday with a third place.
Charles Fiault, who climbed on the two podiums of the weekend, was the strongman of the French team in KZ2 with a second and a third place. Unfortunately Anthony Abbasse, third in Final 1, was forced to retire during Final 2 for a faulty clutch cable.
KF3 drivers who chose to race on Sodi chassis were constantly fighting in the lead places of the most numerous category of the GPO. It was Paolo Besancenez who achieved the best result, 3rd and then 2nd in the final race, but Valentin Moineault also concluded with a nice second place finish in Final 1, before he had to retire during Final 2. Regular and fast, Hubert Petit was getting closer and closer to a great result: he concluded with a 5th and then a 3rd place in Ostricourt. Florian Latorre was in the lead pack with his 7th and 5th final places, while young Jérémy Demarque entered the top 10.
