Both of the pre-race favourites finally met on the front row: Thomas Mich (Birel / TM and Anthony Abbasse (Sodi / Maxter) at the start of the pre-final. Abbasse started perfectly, followed by Clement Da Silva (Birel / TM) ahead of the too polite Mich. The latter still took 2nd place before the end of the first lap. Da Silva was third, closely followed by Morgan Weber (Merlin / TM), Mathieu Gaillard (Energy / TM), Nolan Mantione (Intrepid / TM) and Emilien Grosso (Intrepid / TM).
Mich quickly returns to the wheeltracks of Abbasse: the duel was on. The internet connection disappeared along with the live timing, so we needed to fly as well. The Birel driver passed the Sodi on the 6th corner and got away quickly and well. Da Silva closed on second, and Weber and Nolan dropped Mantione (Sodi / TM), who maintained a good pace in fifth position, ahead of Grosso and Gaillard. The Energy driver succeeded in his attack on Grosso, leaving a bit of respite for Mantione.
At the front, things did not change. Mich managed his lead, Abbasse controlled Da Silva. Weber ended up 4th, 5th was Mantione, Gaillard 6th, 7th Grosso.
