Swedish young driver Félix Nilsson continues his exploration of the «continental circus» circuits during a pretty busy season debut. This time, it was the turn of the”7 Lakes Track”, in Castelletto di Branduzzo, which hosted the 22nd edition of prestigious Trofeo Andrea Margutti.
Ludovic Miretti, boss of LM Karting, comments a weekend with mixed performances: «Both the kart and the driver had all it took to achieve some good results. But after his average performance in time qualifying, he had to start from 11th row. He was often caught in the mayhem of heat starts and had to fight hard to catch up. This is why he took some serious risks in a qualifying phase, where it would have been better for him to secure his place, if possible. But we cannot really reproach him for his bravery. He suffered another small collision in the repechage race and fell back to the last position. His return to 10th place proves how fast he is, but that was not enough to enter the final phases».
But despite all this, the difficult training in KF3 continues positively for Félix, who knows how to learn the necessary lessons from each meeting to refine his driving skills.
